Hey All,
I am considering applying to ESL Starter. I like to hear your thoughts on this recruitment agency. Both pros and cons. As well as the application process.
Thank you! |

This is where Google can really save your butt if you get proactive about things. I put in ESL Starter and the first couple pages of results had enough horror stories from teachers from all over the world that any sane person would red flag them. |

Thank you for your reply!
I am surprised that ESL Starter isn't as positive as the many testimonials on their site suggests. |

Yes, I used to have a client centered side business for years and potential clients would ask me for testimonials and references. I would always ask them if they preferred positive or negatives ones. |

Glad you had a positive experience with them DA. I am sure others have had too.
The problem, as always, is that they are a placement company and are one way or another going to be placing some teachers with bad companies that burn through teachers and need a constant new supply of new meat. Then, as seems the negative feedback, they cannot or will not help the teacher as promised once they are in the position.
Considering what is at stake, I wouldn't roll the dice. |
