If you are on either of these two visas: Work-Visit or Business Visa, I gather that you are not entitled to open a bank account,so how does one get paid?
Do they give you cash in hand/pay packet ?
Cheers,

| There is no STANDARD way to pay you under the circumstances you describe. It could be a combination of ways or it could be a direct deposit into your bank back home. You're really asking the wrong people. No one knows for sure....how could they? They don't even know who your employer will be. (Do you?).....you got to ask the employer (or rather, the institution that will be paying you) for an official answer. |

As hash pointed out, you need to ask the particular company that's sponsoring you. Contracting companies work independently of each other, so don't assume there's a one-size-fits-all business practice that they all follow when it comes to the teachers they hire. Anyway, also check this forum for discussions about the company (as well as others you're considering sending your CV to). |

The other question is "Who will pay for my medical treatment when I am ill or after an involvement in a Road Traffic Accident ?"
Forget the Business Visa. It is not the way to go. |
