When I was a TEFL teacher, I had the temerity to post that I worked for an EF school in Casablanca and actually had a good experience there.
I was jumped on, insulted, cyber bullied and called a liar. Someone even accused me of having an EF staff member stand over me dictating what to write!!!!
As I'm no long in the industry, I'm curious to know if EF is still considered a pariah.

I think most people these days understand that it always depends on the school. Or maybe I'm being overly optimistic.

You've only posted once. Where's this other post so I can have a look?

I worked at the BC in Casa and knew a couple of EF teachers. They were nice enough and no doubt pretty good, but the pay and hours were just bad.

Hi Hod,

Yes I've only posted once this time around. I worked for EF Casa way back in 2001.

I left Dave's ESL Cafe as I was disappointed that those who felt free to insult me were allowed to post whatever they wanted yet when I tried to post a polite rebuttal, I was told my post wasn't going to appear on the board. So much for "moderators' and "moderation".

I haven't regretted my decision to leave TEFL teaching but I do miss the travel Smile
All the best to you.
