So, I have an interview for what looks like a really promising job in Singapore. However, for the upcoming interview.

Honestly....I have no idea what that means. I'm an American, but I gather that o-levels are the last two years of school for pupils who will be entering the professional world, but aren't quite up with the a-levels. Will teaching it be anything like teaching IELTS or TOEIC??

If anyone could give me any pointers for what to expect in the interview, or a general idea of what teaching O levels is all about, I would really appreciate it.

O levels were phased out in the UK in the late 1980s, they became GCSEs. You take the exams at 16 and they basically cover the full curriculum and allow you to progress to A levels.

Sounds like international school type work. Here's the Singapore O level syllabus.

Saudi Arabia decided not to have me. Apparently my degree is from an unapproved school and therefor no good. There is still a chance to apply with my MA only, but that might not work out so well either. And I won't receive it for another month. If it works, great. But I doubt it will. Time to let that dream go...
