PS - Of course, if you ASK too many questions, they might lose interest in you. There's a chance you might not get a job simply because you come across as a "difficult" worker.

Many of these companies (not just in KSA, of course) assume a new worker doesn't know enough to ask the tough questions.

So you do what you want to do. If you need the job no matter what, approach them like a lamb. If you really don't care, you might want to approach them like a Rottweiler.

If one was to be offer a role, how long would you expect to wait until you can bring your spouse and dependants over with you? (by sponsoring them yourself, paying for costs etc)

For starters, you'd need to be on a proper employment visa (this thread is about business visit visas). You should still bring it up with your employer, especially if they're providing bachelor/single-status housing. Plus, you'd have to hold a resident ID card before sponsoring any dependents. (Employers have 90 days to have your card processed.) Anyway, don't wait until you're offered a position --- ask during your interview.

I've just done this myself. I've been thinking about starting a thread on it actually to explain the process, as it had changed from when I last did it. In my case it took three months
