I may be going to Hong Kong because my visa here hasn't come through yet. I all ready have a one way ticket to go there, but wonder if anyone knows how I can get a cheap fare back, and that in the same day.
All I need is a tourist visa. I don't have to go to the embassy or anything. A travel agent here told me that it'd be cheaper to buy a return ticket in Hong Kong, but I'm not sure if I can get one the same day or not. Anyone know of how I can get this done? |

My wife and I purchased return tickets to HK from Interlink. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
We managed a return trip to HK within 12 hours. |

You would be better off buying the return ticket here in Taiwan if you are only in HK for one day. Travel agents are seldom able to book a same day ticket with any reliability. In HK you would have to buy one at the airport and even at the lower tax rate, airport ticket agents are much higher. It will still be cheaper to buy one from a local travel agent.
Generally speaking if you book a ticket far in advance you can save up to 50% by buying it in Hong Kong. There are lower taxes and no hidden fees.
Good luck,
A. |
