My degree is not a BA or BSc it is a 4 year degree in piano performance. My question is do you need to show any officials your degree cert when you get to China? You don't need to show it for the z visa but I don't want them to say that mine isn't a BA/BSC and reject my residence permit if I get a job offer. Thanks! |

GBSM- Graduate of Birmingham School of Music which now comes under Birmingham City University. It was Birmingham Polytechnic when I was there who affiliated it but I lost it and had to get a replacement so mine says Birmingham City University. |

That would confuse potential employers. You might get an official certificate from your university confirming your qualification is equivalent to a B.Mus. |

Yes, that'll be interesting to the employers in
Germany
Italy
China
Saudi Arabia
and the US
who have evidently offered jobs to this guy recently
Have I missed any? |

It will pass in Germany and probably Italy too. I;ve already had offers of interviews from these countries. But do you need to show your degree or not when you get to china that's the question. |

Your employer will need a copy, scan, to get the letter of invitation, and it will most likely be needed when converting your Z-visa to a residence permit. I believe the admin where I work show a scan along with other docs each year when I renew. Never needed the original, though I do have it. |

you should always be prepared. I would bring apostilled copies of my certificates and transcripts. |
