Anyone know anything about this? Is it close to where any members are teaching? Or is it further south?

An attacker has opened fire at an education department office in Saudi Arabia's southern Jazan province, killing six employees, officials have said.
Two other people have been wounded in the assault, in the remote community of Ad Dair, next to the border with Yemen.
The attacker has been arrested, an official said.
No motive has been given for the attack, and authorities say they are treating it as a criminal act.
The suspect has not been identified but the AFP news agency, quoting Al-Ekhbariya state TV, reported that the man was not an employee but had some business at the ministry.
Earlier reports suggested the attacker was a teacher.
Criminal mass shootings are rare in Saudi Arabia but the country has faced recent attacks by the so-called Islamic State.
Saudi Arabia has led an air campaign against Shia Houthi rebels in Yemen and violence in the border region has been frequent in recent months. |

If a Saudi kills someone, mental illness. And domestics, who survive hell
for 20 cents an hour in a hell hole, are predisposed to kill children and
babies under their care. Right. |

From the above Al-Arabiya article:
A teacher has shot dead six colleagues in south of Saudi Arabia, state television said on Thursday, with speculation that the man had issues with the principle.
Which principle would that be?
The "Gimme Three Steps" principle? |

According to the Saudi Gazette, the gunman and his victims were all Saudis:

Local sources told Okaz that the arrested person is Abdullah Jaber Al-Malki, a teacher in Islamic Education who was given the ‘Ideal Teacher’ award. Those who died following the firing are Hussein Al-Malki, Hassan Musa Al-Malki, Mohammed Al-Malki, Sultan Al-Malki, Hassan Mohammed Al-Malki, Hassan Jabbar Al-Malki and Abdullah Johali.
Abdullah Al-Malki, who is 30 years old, used a Kalashnikov while storming the education department in Bani Malik, Jazan. Reports on the state television channel’s website and Twitter account did not elaborate or offer a reason for the shooting at the education department building.

Maybe the perpetrator is bonkers or maybe he is unusually normal for someone in Saudi society. With the expat murderers it's hard to get at the truth as to who murdered who. Again Saudi society is enough to make many people go mad. It is just plain bad. |

The dishonest principle tells the teacher to produce a fable, a miracle and the teacher can't do it. The depression sinks in and voila.

From the names, they mostly seem to be in the same tribe... and some of the names suggest that they may even be more closely related. But the common names make it hard to know for sure.

Guns are common in KSA. Of course only Saudi males have access to them. Foreigners have no chance of getting their hands on one ! |

Killing by gun are low in the US, only 11,000 a year now. |

Sad news, it's difficult enough getting people to go to some parts of KSA due to conflicts with neighbouring countries. It's a shame with the ruling around posession of guns, we dont need to worry about things like that here just mass brawls and protests |
