Hello. Has anyone had any experience in taking cats to HK and putting them through the 4 months quarantine period required? - Am interested in hearing about your experiences. Thanks |

Yes. So far this year, (under this forum name; there are others), you've inquired about
Turkey
Poland
Czech Republic
Tallin
Italy
and about obtaining PCGE, Praxis, and NES qualifications (despite the obvious geographical issues involved in earning US vs. UK quals).
And now you imply that you are actually going to Hong Kong, enough to waste anyone's time giving advice about taking a cat there?
You are not serious. It's really rude to waste people's time and energy when you are not actually going. |

Never knew it was a crime to keep my options open. You have no idea about my current situation. Please stop bullying people on here just because they are trying to find out as much info about places they are interested in before they decide. |

Your supposed options have been nothing but open all the years you have been on the boards with your numerous aliases. You are exploiting people for no good reason. That's wrong. |

Why would anyone go to the trouble of asking about cat quarantine if they weren't thinking of taking a cat somewhere? |

That's a good question; I've never fathomed this poster's motives. S/he draws people into long, drawn-out discussions and then moves on to something totally else.
I 'made' him/her when s/he wasted a considerable amount of my time discussing flats and neighborhoods in Prague (had a supposed job offer) and I found soon after that s/he had had exactly the same detailed pm conversation in the same time period with someone else about France.
I suspect that this person can't actually travel anywhere for some reason and needs the boards as a part of his or her daily social contact, but I find it very dishonest that s/he exploits the time and energy of others to such a degree on false premises. |

Ok I'll give the OP the benefit of the doubt this time. Although a bit dated this thread gives some relevant details and links about bringing in pets to HK. Seems the easiest way is to hire a pet import agent who will handle all the details for you.
