Sicklyman seems to know the position with ARAMCO. I believe he is with a contractor and is not one of the Initiates in the Inner Sanctum.

I do not see many posters from BAe. Their number have diminished and they are all scared to talk in case word gets back to those in Preston who run the show.

Some of the American Military outfits pay well but..........................

Celebrity speakers only get around 500 GBP a day for events, plus travel expenses.

If they only talk for an hour that's not a bad rate is it? I did a week's course with a text book writer who was getting 4 grand (UK) for the week.

Hong Kong still has it's fair share of high paying teaching positions. It does take time to build up your experience and skill set in order to be eligible though.

Are you implying that high paying positions in the KSA don't require regular full-time (or more) hours?

Some do and some don't. Military jobsites are full of featherbedding and people who look busy but who are doing nothing.

Well there's a similar situation in Hong Kong. There are plenty of very cushy posts around with high pay and relatively decent working hours. Why do you think programs like the EDB NET scheme are so highly sought after? (**caveat, noted there is a lot of variety in EDB NET positions, some are better than others and it highly depends on the school that you work for)

In the field of TEFL the highest paid jobs are writers of well known text books such as English file, Cutting Edge etc... Or celebrity writers/experts/speakers such as Michael Lewis/Jeremy Harmer/Scott Thornbury who can command large fees at conferences/workshops and the like.

...and the guy who created an internet meeting place for us all way back when.
