It's sad that I have to post a negative experience on this forum, but it's now become necessary.
The director is dishonest, arrogant, and bashes teachers to other teachers.
She claimed a certain wage after getting a certain number of students in class but then gives 2 free lesson to them that the teacher is expected to teach for free
On late notice she organized a 9 hour all-day training session after teachers had already previously bought airline tickets to leave the Tet holiday.
Hearing that I and others could not attend the training session, she made threats, and demanded that teachers attend.
She has hired a westerner that just arrived in VN and has never been to VN before let alone Asia.
Building better future - will make your future worse |

Is there a way to retaliate? Can't you fore warn the new teacher about this crazy woman? Vietnamese are ruthless when it comes to doing business. They had acquired such skill from the Chinese. |

Retaliate in Vietnam? *laugh*
The only thing we can do is quit and warn others. |

There are facebook groups in hanoi: Hanoimassive and Hanoi teachers or something like that.
Post a warning for others.
And review them on the newhanoian. |
