Hi all,
Quick question: What would be ideal places to work as a teacher for a person who loves palmtrees and white beaches??
Stay sunny

Although I've never been to UAE, I hear great things about the resorts. Plus the work opportunities are supposed to be good (for money anyway) unless you're a woman (I hear???). I have been to Bahrain, it was great (the resorts), but too hot (UAE is probably the same). Egypt is also ok, as there are a number of really cheap resorts but the money ain't so great. It's kinda hot, but not nearly as bad as Bahrain. Israel is great (as long as you're Jewish) because you can make trips to Eilat. The weather is comparable to California, but the money isn't so good and it can be really expensive there.

Phuket town has schools.
1/2 an hour from some nice beaches.
won't make much money, though. |

Last time I was at Latakia the hotel beach was covered in garbage. And the military seem to have taken over most of the best beaches - nearly got shot driving into a rifle-toting beach guard. |
