What about you, scotty?
What embarrassing mistranslations have you made in your language learning journey, especially in the Magic Kingdom?

When I was in the Magic Kingdom, I have heard a Philipina nurse say 'Arabic', I thought she was saying 'a rabbit'! Smile

We need concrete evidence of your grumpiness. Heaving a half-brick through Johnslat's window might do it.

I fear my membership would be posthumous if I were to antagonise an ex-marine. You may consider my application withdrawn. Crying or Very sad

Many thanks John and Scot47. I am truly honoured to be accepted into the ranks of such a prestigious body of men. May I nominate Donald Trump for membership?

Dear grahamb,

Ivana? You don't keep up too much on pop culture, it seems:

Trump's Trumpettes:

3rd: Melania Trump (m. 2005), 2nd: Marla Maples (m. 1993–1999), 1st: Ivana Trump (m. 1977–1992) Very Happy

Say hello to the possible future First Lady:
