They are interested in me, and want to do a Skype interview. I told them before I do an interview, I need to know about the visa....because several others have balked, when I asked, after an hour long interview. He has been professional so far, and says I would not need the "Z," and they would get me permission to work from the local authorities. After meeting so many liars, I would just like to hear some second opinions. That sounds like something they would say here in Thailand, which of course would be a lie, and if you were caught; you would be the one in trouble. But, many would say it is all SOP. I've been interested in checking out the jobs in China, and since I'm already living in Chiang Mai; it would be a good chance to get my feet wet. I hate f------ paperwork, and corrupt officials. Your instincts are correct. You'd be taking a risk. It cannot be legal (if you are getting paid for it).

The chances are nothing would happen to you, but it's still a risk. As long as you're aware.
