Dear revilo,

I think it's most suitable the the "Job Function" is classified as "Administrative." Very Happy

Ditto that. Those are typical duties of most receptionist and admin assistant positions in the US.

The real question is, what is the pay. I would totally do that job for the right pay. Since they want someone who speaks English and is polished enough to serve VIPs the pay might be decent. It would always likely be a pretty mindless low stress job, which has its benefits.

I'll just bet that they'll offer "Competitive salary commensurate with experience". Laughing

That wouldn't be the case for a similar job targeting a female tea attendant. The only reason this ad is garnering attention is because it's for a male. Given that most receptionists and admin assistants in our home countries are women, no one thinks twice about a female serving tea/coffee and making sure the kitchen and bathrooms are stocked and clean.

Some of you posters have been out of the Kingdom way too long. There are indeed Saudis in tea boy positions.

I would go back tomorrow if I could. Alas, I am aged and decrepit. I left in 2011.
