I've noticed some summer camp programs occasionally offer up decent salaries for the 3 months of work. Summer will soon be upon us, so I'd like to get an early start on nabbing a summer job.
Where do you guys generally find yours? |

I'm not sure it is easy to just drop into a good place for the summer and make big bucks I have generally had part time gigs with training centers who, assuming the relationship is solid will offer you summer work. At least this holds true for the better positions. I imagine the cruddy penny pinchers like Hampson have a tough time in the summer. It's all about supply and demand - students are free, lots of teachers go home, the ratios are in our favour. The 300+ jobs will keep the best/ most reliable teachers sweet during this time.
Where are you? In Shanghai I could put you in touch with a sweet summer gig, this is a decent TC but they are planning ahead to tie down teachers for the summer season. I signed on for 210 hours over 6 weeks just yesterday. |
