|
|
I, being an (admittingly) "simple-minded American", was wondering if anyone could answer and explain a few questions to me:
1. Why did none of the prisioners try to escape/fight/yeall smuck you to the Al-Quida before their heads were chopped off on tv?
2. What happed to anthrax and why haven't we found out where/who it came from?
3. Why did the Phillipines leave for one man, as we stay around letting heads get hacked off and more people dying daily?
--Oh wait, I think I know the answer to that last one.
Just a little confused and wanting some external insight! |

I didn't watch it; I'm not a sadist. My understanding is that the Korean did. I can't imagine why anyone would want to dwell on this subject, unless you're considering the possibility that it was staged...?

I've done a lot of research on this subject. It came from cows.

Because negotiating with terrorist encourages terrorism and it makes you more French.

When the ITALIAN victim was going to die, he is reported to have said: "You are now going to see how an Italian dies!"
I don't think when you are surrounded by a handful of heavily-armed kidnappers all of whom have a knack for being sadistic you try to run away. |

Roger, I must correct you on that one. The first kidnapped American, the farmer from Mississippi who could no longer make the bills farming, and then his wife got cancer and he couldn't pay for her medical treatment, so he sold his farm and took a job driving a truck in Iraq for $100,000+USD/yr. Well, he escaped - twice.

I've been told that terrorists often emply mock executions. They march out their victims over and over again. The theory is that people will soon stop struggling because they don't expect to really be executed. Drugs could also be employed to make victims docile.
If a terrorist says that he is willing to die for his cause, and I kill him, does that amount to cooperation on my part? |

Ok yeah that makes sense, then. I had already considered the drug part...

Anthrax, yes comes from farm animals naturally occuring like SHEEP etc...
but the letters came from an ex-US soldier who lost his keel. That is old news, and has been well published.
More BS from CNN and the factory of lies |
Ok CNN already tried that angle in their reports, but I can't recall anyone being "offically" arrested/charged/blamed in all of the anthrax cases. |

Remember that not only have Americans been sacrificed in Iraq - there have been Bulgarians, one Korean and Italians as well.
One Italian that was going to be murdered is reported to have shouted at his executoner "you are going to see how an ITALIAN dies!"
Heroic presence of mind? What else could one say when one knows one's end is near? Some cry, some beg for mercy - it's to no avail when you are dealing with sadists!
Hat off to that Italian! |

Ok. Ok. I understand that anthrax comes from cows, but how did the cows put it in the letters and take them to the post office???? |

Seth - your avatar is disturbing! Do you know the nationality of the kid?
Maybe I'm being stereotypical but I guess it starts with an "A" and ends with "merican". |

cows are quite clever, highly underestimated.
Seths avitar resembles myself. A nacho like glow.
and more from the online news agency.
A video posted on a web site purporting to show the beheading of an American captive has been declared a hoax.
Benjamin Vanderford of San Francisco, California, admitted he had faked the video at a friend's house.
he video allegedly appeared in the same web format used by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and was introduced by a headline that said it showed al-Zarqawi killing an American.
When asked about the issues regarding the sensitivity and whether what he did was disrespectful, he was unrepentant, claiming "it was an experiment"
"One, how easy it is for these types of videos to be faked, especially the way the videos are looking right now, the ones that are out."
Two, how easily the press can be tricked into thinking
the videos are real, which would just be another way the hostages, like even a small group of like disgruntled people in Iraq or Saudi Arabia could get more attention just by easily releasing it just like I did on the internet.
"And if they presume it's real, without doing any research..then it's sort of a big open hole for them to manipulate the whole society with...so it proves that it can be done pretty easily."
"It wasn't intended purely as a hoax. It was intended as an experiment," he added.
This places additional pressure on news agencies to verify information and not report on stories without concrete evidence said another analyst. |

Uh...dude, headless corpses floating in the river is proof enough for me. But, hey, I'm a pushover. I guess that was a report that could have been fabricated as well. Maybe we need the autopsy reports?
And some detailed commentary from the neighbors would be nice. "He was always such a nice boy...Always calm..controlled...I never once saw him lose his head in an argument...such a pity." |
