Try the bar at the Dilmun Hotel - more interesting. Very "Graham Greene" Look out especially for the dodgy Lebanese characters.

The Seashell hotel, not far from the Gulf hotel was where I stayed and played pool with the ladies there. Two of the barmaids were from Eritrea. Laughing
