Hi all,
I'm visiting Mexico soon and wondering if there are any regularly scheduled teacher meetups that I might be able to attend in DF and/or Queretaro? I'm curious to meet people who are already there, doing what I hope to be doing!

| I'm in before 7:00 PM, or after 10:00 PM. Between those times, I have private students - yes, even on Friday evenings! Everyone in Queretaro seems to need English these days, for job interviews, professional advancement, to communicate with their European or Asian owners. The city is definitely becoming an English hotspot. |

You could say! This has always been true. By contrast, when I lived and worked in Korea, I gave up posting in the Korea Forum altogether because it just got me down. So many nasties and know-it-alls, it wasn't worth it.
But here in the Country of the Caballero, we are courtly! |

| I teach in the morning and in the evening. How about a 1:00pm meet up for lunch..That would allow all of us the time to do what we need to do. How about somewhere either in centro or at Plaza del Parque... I'm up for either. I would have Fitzgerald or Jultime pick the exact place since I'm new to the city. I suggested centro, because I live in centro or Plaza del Parque, because it is one of the few places I've been to outside of centro.. |

Hi,
1pm works for me too. Plaza del Parque food court has pretty good Chinese and is easy to get to. Let's see what Fitz has to say.
And yes we are a friendly, helpful bunch in Mexico. |

Sure, that works for me. I'll be taking the #62 bus from La Joya around 12:30, when my meeting there ends, so if I'm a few minutes late, don't worry, I'm on my way. I know that food court, I can meet you all there. |
