|
|
I'm currently on an L visa in China. My school will process the application for my Z visa via Macau. I'll be crossing over from Zhuhai at the end of the month to apply for the visa.
A few questions.
1. Is there an expedited service? 1 day turn around service?
2. Cost? I've researched and it seems to be 140 USD (US citizen) |

The link below provides the information you're looking for. They seem to offer a next day and 24 hour service at additional cost. The 24 hour service will likely only be same day if you get to the visa office as soon as it opens in the morning.

It's my understanding that the government wants applicants to process visas in their home country. In other words, the days of doing it in Hong Kong and Macau are over. Has there been another change in policy, one that might actually benefit us for once? |

It is still possible to do a Z visa in Hong Kong anyways, I have done that recently. It depends on the province you will be working in. Some allow it , some do not. |
