Hi all!
I was just wondering if anybody here has lived in Tokushima city before. I was just told that I will be teaching there and I was hoping someone here could share some opinions on the people, living there as a foreigner, things like that. |

I know somebody who lived there about 6 yrs ago. They liked it very much and said the city and prefecture have a laid back vibe. It's got the big Awa Odori Festival which is legendary and which unfortunately I have never had the chance to see.
A downside seems to be poor bus services and it's expensive to go to other parts of Shikoku from Tokushima. Are you going to work for English Square? I posted for somebody about that school - they said it usually advertised every 2 yrs but they hadn't seen an ad this year. |

I'm gonna be working with Peppy Kids Club, which means I will be traveling a LOT. So, I don't feel too great about hearing that the bus service is poor haha. Oh well, good to hear it's a chill city. |
