Salammalikam, peace be unto you etc. etc.. Arabs be informed that MA doesn't necessarily mean a particular degree is better and more suitable for ESL, although in your eyes the subject of the degree may make it more suitable. In the USA, an MA simply denotes a degree that is less rigorous than an MS. The same is true for a BA in comparison to a BS. A Bachelor's of Science requires more difficult course work than a Bachelor's of Arts. The term BA or MA has nothing particularly to do with Fine Arts or Liberal Arts, it denotes how rigorous the coursework is.
Does anybody have any idea what the 11 English skills that apparently the Arabs are up on are? |

Ever since I've been attending the university for my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. |

What? I have a MS in TESOL, as Teaching was considered a "science", not an art. I really don't think it had anything to do with rigor; I think that education just fell into the social sciences when the university system was being set up. I've never had problems with an MS.

I agree with Gulezar and Spiral...
I have a BSc in Education... and an MA in TEFL... any differences in "rigor" were not perceptible to me
And I too would like to know what "11 English skills" were expected by the Saudi interviewer in the other thread.
