Dear all,

I'm from the UK, have over 8 years' experience, a CELTA and an MSc in TESOL from Edinburgh University. I would ideally like to teach at a university or to find a job teaching adults. Does anyone know of any positions I could apply for, or what would be the best way to search for such positions?

I'd be very appreciate of any help or advice you could give.

Many thanks in advance

FYI: The Peace Corps requires US citizenship.

My comments were just in case the OP was thinking of the PC. Nothing more.

You could try UMAR in Oaxaca www.umar.mx/

They have 3 campuses on the Pacific Coast each with a small English department employing expatriate teachers. The salary works out to about 650 USD a month, but this goes a long way if you´re single.

Here's a link to all the universities in Mexico http://www.altillo.com/universidades/mexico/de/queretaro.asp

The first page is Queretaro, there's a demand for English teachers here specifically at UAQ and Tec de Monteray. Scroll down the page and there are links to other cities.

I've no idea how to apply for positions but at least you now have a list of all the universities in Mexico.

How's your Spanish?

And...I just read you message again. I teach adults at a business language school in Queretaro, I've been there for 2 years, its a great school. We don't have anything vacant at the moment but that will change shortly I'm sure. Send me a pm and I'll send you info on the school and an address to send your resume.
