The location, salary, travel allowance, and teaching hours are all pretty standard for a high school job. In many high schools, students do tend to have Saturday classes of some sort, too. That stuff sounds okay to me, so I'd suggest shifting your focus beyond those things assuming you're interested in the job, such as what courses you'll be expected to teach (big difference in prep time between teaching one lesson to 25 classes or six lessons per week to four classes or whatever), what material you'll be using (some schools are inflexible with regard to what you'll be teaching, and textbooks can be of varying quality), how expensive apartments are in the area, etc. |
