Hello, I have been using spread sheets for a long time for my online student's daily report. I would just like to ask if there is a program that I can install that can manage the creation, approval, distribution and archiving of all controlled documents.

I am really pissed and stressed these past few weeks because of this. So please, let me hear your suggestions. Thanks!

You only have one student, so Excel should suffice for simple record keeping. Use Google drive for storing and distributing assignments to your student. (I'm not sure what you mean by "controlled documents" and "approval" in relation to teaching ESL.)

Do an Internet search using web 2.0 tools for teachers; there are plenty of free apps that should fit your teaching needs.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I have 3 students now.

"controlled documents"- I am pertaining to legality, quality and safety (including reports) that must be controlled. Actually, this was only recommended by my friend in relation with document management system. I was not sure about the details that is why I asked.

Anyway, TY for helping- I believe I will stick with my spreadsheet just to avoid confusion as well.

No one on this forum would know the details of that document management system. As I mentioned on one of your other threads, the ESL Cafe forums are specific to English language teaching/learning with adults and children. It's quite obvious you're a trainer of some sorts in an industry that has zero to do with TESOL.

I suggest you contact that enterprise software company directly for assistance. Additionally, reach out to the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and the Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI) for info on the type of training resources and forum groups relevant to your company's needs. Otherwise, you'll continue to spin your wheels trying to get responses on this website.
