I find that line from their ad quite telling rather than funny. It indicates their desperation to fill positions with desperate job seekers. No doubt they'll attract plenty of applicants. |

I believe they offer as low as 8,500 riyal per month; and I believe that an unemployed man with a wife and 2 kids, living in rented accommodation in London gets a similar amount (correct me if I'm wrong).
I know the oil price is low and the good days are over, but don't you get the feeling that these people are just a bunch of chancers trying to cash in? |

Yeah I had the same from a company who advertises here so no name. When I told them to stop sending me unsolicited job ads, which they sent frequently, I got this reply:
"This email was sent to you for referral purpose only.
If you have a family member or a friend who is currently unemployed, please share this message with him / her; as you will bring hapiness into the hearts of those who are in need of a job or those who are looking for better job oppurtunities."
In other words, we don't care that you are not in the market for a job, we just want to hire you as an unpaid recruiter.
And I got this one recently from a recruiter hiring for ARAMCO:
"Note: - If you are not interested or already share your profile then please share this email in your network for the references, after all helping people in getting a job is a noble cause."
I guess some people think we were born yesterday. And I guess too that I must lack nobility as I didn't forward the ad on 😆
Nuff said.

Hi all,
I think they think because of the money crisis everywhere, everyone is desperate!
Or: they are desperate and they are in denial!
Msg to contractors: Pump up your salary and watch. |

Are there any employers actually hiring and offering the business visa or work visit visa, where one can pop over to Bahrain for a pint o' guiness every noo' and again, or is it all only IQAMA visas from now on? |

Siologen- Yes, there are, but the miserable salary that they offer means that it really will be 'a pint', every now and then.

There is probably only a small handful of employers in Saudi worth getting an Iqama with. |
