I have been living in Guatemala for the past month studying Spanish. One of my teahers here has friends in Japan and would like to live and work there. I am currious if there is indeed work for Native Spanish speakers in Japan and what the qualifications are. Thank you in advance for any insights.

Native speakers of Spanish need a university degree for a work visa from immigration, probably working at a language school such as NOVA. Not sure if there is enough work to teach Spanish full time though and they may ask him/her to teach some English classes as well.
See the NOVA website http://www.teachinjapan.com |
