I was thinking of maybe moving to Taiwan as I prefer to be nearer the Philippines and Thailand compare to where I am currently a bit further east about 4.5 hours from the phils. But on checking out the PS positions, they pay 64000 TWD plus 5000 housing with a Bachelors and a bit more about 68,000 or so with a Masters plus 5000 housing. There is a 12 point scale but even then the maximum is about 91,000 with a doctorate or 88k with a masters. You need to be a qualified teacher from your home country as well before you can get these jobs, which I am. Is this the most you can earn in Taiwan then? It's not particularly high I don't think.

Max in TWD per month ultimately will depend on many factors, but don't expect a lot for your first job typically. Making more than 100k TWD per month would not be likely however.
