That's less than 5000 AED, on the other hand the email in the post seems to be fake so that's that...

The email address in the ad is poorly formatted. But again, I suspect the target audience are newbie teachers already in the UAE. The recruiter even indicates his local phone number.

You do realize this is a 4-month junior teaching position --- similar to an internship/apprenticeship. That's about the same length as my semester-long teaching practicum in the US for my MAT. But unlike this opportunity, I didn't get a stipend. (I taught part time while working a full-time day job.)

Perhaps someone pursuing this opportunity will post about it.

There's a clear trend in hiring less experienced people for far less money. MOE jobs are a e prime example. HCT is revising its own scale by changing people's teaching titles. Those who've received an email stating they'll be renewed have not been told the terms of the new contract.

Orphan hires are far cheaper. Ed institutions don't want to pay for family-size housing, schooling, airfare, etc. We've seen salaries drop for new employees in the HCT. The merger of PI, Khalifa U and KUSTAR will most certainly result in pay cuts/housing adjustments for at least some of those.

And who is willing to take a job in which you might have to share accommodation to get something decent? Young people with less experience.
