Can one get a Z visa after arriving in China on a tourist visa? Suspect you can but may have to do a visa run?

Query is in case i go for a travel and decide to stay and work later.

I'm no expert, and I am sure those who know better will jump in soon, but I would think at the very least you'd have to run over to Hong Kong with a sponsorship letter et al from whoever wanted to hire you.

This doesn't come up very often, but I found a few threads that might answer your question. Just pick the answer that you want to believe and off you go to the Land of Milk and Honey.

Godspeed.

First time I've ever seen such a query. 13 years on Dave's and they're still comin' up with new stuff. Rolling Eyes

Only 13 tears? I cried me a river my first year. You Brits and your stiff upper lips. Sheesh.
