I recommend Qingdao, which is by the sea - less air pollution. Plus there is the development of the Qingdao Movie Metropolis, so there will in the future be tons of actors / wannabe actors. If they are Chinese, they may want to improve their English with a drama oriented teacher, and Hollywood studios are likely to pitch up there. If you are planning on being in China long term, that environment might suit you.

Qingdao is great especially if you are close to the sea. Afternoon sea breeze etc.
