Someone told me it is possible to get some kind of renewable 60 day visa to come in and out of China and work in the meantime????

I have PhD and many appropriate academic quals and worked in Xiamen for some years.

Basically, although I'm supposed to be retired, I want to continue working but the world is trying to put me out to pasture. I do need a decent salary, almost no pension.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any input available.

That doesn't sound right at all.

To be honest, that sounds like wishful thinking at best.

That visa sounds like the 10 year tourist visa option. It's illegal to work on that.

With a PhD I'd imagine more doors are open, especially with the new ABC ranking system for foreigners.
