Has working in the field of EFL changed you ? For better or for worse ?
I am different as a result of working abroad and developing my knowledge of foreign languages and cultures. |

I've only just finished my CELTA and have one years experience of teaching voluntarily with a local council in UK and a few weeks in Thailand so I can't say for sure as much as others on the forum. Asking if it is has changed someone is a very broad question, but to try be specific, I would say it has changed the way I communicate with non-native speakers and have a better understanding of the difficulty they have in understanding me. Therefore the grading of my language has changed quite significantly. |
