How respected is Ontesol's 250 diploma delivered in an online format in Mexico?
I'd like to move down to work in a University, but I'm flexible depending upon where I wind up. I plan to roam about a bit until I find somewhere that suits my fancy. |

I did a forum search and came up with two threads. One of them is this one and the other is from 2011. In which it indicates that a person who has the Ontesol 250 hour diploma was more qualified than 90 percent of the people running around at the time.
I do wonder, and sort of hope a little, that time has moved on and that standards have creeped ever upwards.
I'm also considering doing the TKT test as my holiday schedule for this winter can be organized well enough to do at least one or hopefully all of the 1,2,3 module test. That is if I can do them all in one painfully great whack. |

Observed teaching practice is the most valuable part of any TESOL cert. Does your online course have that? |
