Hi,

I'm supposed to start work in Japan in about a month or so. My CoE processed in only two weeks and I was super excited. It was sent out in the post only a couple of days later.

Now almost 15 days later it hasn't shown up, nor has tracking moved from the dreaded "In-Transit" stage for USPS and seemingly trapped at the sorting facility. I called and two reps told me that since it's Priority Express mail, it should have arrived about a day or two after it arrived at the facility.

I call again today and they're telling me it's probably stuck at customs and there's nothing they can do once it's in customs. Customs is saying that tracking should show that it's at customs, but it doesn't. I also notified my employer about it.

I'm bummed because I have no idea what to do if it's lost. Can they reissue a new one quickly? Has this happened to anyone? Thanks in advance.

They are notorious for losing things.
