Apartment = studio (moldy/mildewy; ripped sofa also w mildew; blood stains on blanket; mattress and sofa hard as a rock; washing machine doesn't drain; frig has 2 oil leaks; no western toilet lol boss bought me 5USD picnic plastic seat with hole in middle from Wall Mart and then smiled: "Here!")
"all basic kitchen/cooking ware" = nothing
microwave = nothing
close to school = 2 km to bus stop
curriculum = pirated tv shows w computerized voice overs / students' book half in chinese
escort you first week = first day taxi ride
100s of cable tv channels = 2 basic english channels
payment in cash
classes often cancelled w/o notice so you travel by taxi early am for nothing

+ they hire anybody (non native english speakers) Very Happy and will do 3-5 month contracts; that's how desperate they are.......

thanks for the heads up. add it to a list of schools to avoid.

there should be some kind of list on this website of places to avoid.

Personally, now I'm on my second job in two years and the new school still managed to bait & switch me even after I made a personal visit at my own expense to check it out

If there is a next time, I'm going to look much closer at important details.
