Where would you prefer to live: Kanto or Kinki district?

Based on your personal experience, which would you choose:

Kanto or Kinki district?
Any cities that you prefer and why?

Since you're going with ECC and I want to help but know nothing of the cities, I'll just explain why I chose Kinki. You probably know most of this already though.

I had picked Kanto, since I was applying to be placed near someone else and we had both picked prefectures near the Kanto region for other programs.

When I was informed of my acceptance they didn't have any available slots in Kanto yet... did I want to wait for a position or take one in Kinki?

Hmmmm..... well, I was glad they asked me this question because I started weighing things out after I left my interview. Kinki has more kids classes, and I love working with kids. Also, Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto are smaller than Tokyo and Yokohama, so my thirst for a more rural area could be fullfilled.

So, now I leave for Osaka in a week (c:

And, just for the record, it took a little more than 15 days for me to get my response, but they have been very helpful throughout the whole process.
