Hey all,

I'm going to Russia (Petersburg) over the summer for a Russian language program. By the time of my trip I'll have completed my TEFL certification, so I'm curious about how viable some light freelancing would be, to get a bit of teaching experience and somewhat offset the cost of the trip. Would this be advisable, or prohibitively difficult? Would I be likely to run into official difficulties? I also plan on teaching English in Russia next year - would summer freelancing lessen my chances of getting on with some companies/institutions?
