I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Coatepec as a place to visit/explore? |

It's a beautiful place. The general situation in that region has been a bit turbulent in the past three years, so just be cautious and keep your wits about you. |

It won't get any better until some time after the next president takes office--And it could quite possible get worse. |
