GWIS issues worthless diplomas. It has zero accreditation in the USA. It is only registered to operate in the wild west of charter schools known as Florida. The Orlando address is a mailandmore front store. And the one in Ontario, California? They added those photoshopped pics and info when someone actually called them on their lies because they just googled the Florida address. GWIS has NO physical school or location in the USA. Someone added those pics to make it look real. What a total joke. Philip Nguyen is a total fraud. His law degree is a fraud from a diploma mill shut down by the US Dept of Justice/FBI. And Philip Nguyen was ordered to stop representing himself as a lawyer by the WA State Bar. All of that sounds like it might be a bit too much, but please follow the links below for all the proof you need.

According to the GWIS website:

But a quick search finds that Columbus University was one of the most famous of recent diploma mills. A life experience based degree where folks would have over thousands of dollars in exchange for a worthless degree or diploma...
Columbus University is on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's list of institutions whose degrees are illegal to use in Texas, because degrees from such institutions have been found to be "fraudulent or substandard".

Accreditation
The Florida Department of Education does not accredit, regulate, approve, or license K-12 private schools. Additionally, the Florida Department of Education does not officially recognize any of the various agencies that accredit private schools.
Section 1002.42, Florida Statutes, requires K-12 private schools to register with the department by completing an annual survey each year and explicitly provides that submitting annual survey data and being listed in the directory of private schools should not be used by any private school to imply approval or accreditation by the state.

Of course it's gonna be Florida.

I nearly took a job with them outside of Saigon. It seemed to be that we would be dispatched to Vietnamese public schools and teach there but be employees of GWIS. The pay seemed good and everything seemed above board but declined due to a better opportunity coming up last minute.

Have to admit that I had wondered if I had made the right decision and now glad to see that I had dodged a bullet. Cheers for sharing, Prof.

Hi all,

I'm a freelance reporter in Hanoi, Vietnam. I'm working on a story to pitch to a US publication about George Washington International School, which has partnerships with institutions in 14 different Vietnamese provinces and claims to offer students an accredited US high school diploma, plus operate a California school with over 100 students. In the last few weeks Vietnamese media has reported on all the ways in which those claims are false. It seems they do not have a campus at all in the US.
