Don't worry there are hundreds of EFL positions available for anyone who wishes to teach in Thailand these days who hold a university degree. Many schools nowadays are looking for teachers to teach English in the Land of Smiles ..even Thais! Good luck! Smile

You can find (legal) work if your documentation is in order.

As an NNES a lot will depend on your passport.

Indians and Africans (other than South African nationals) have a difficult time.
Filipinos have a much easier time finding work as English or other subject teachers.
Europeans usually have an easy time depending on their language proficiency (TOEIC test score) but may be offered a lower salary.

There is NO chance for legal work if any part of your documentation is lacking.

You NEED before you fly in:
degree (may need embassy authentication depending on where you are coming from).
transcripts of academic records from your uni.
    TOEIC test result.
    police check
passport with more than 1 year validity remaining.

It is to note here that a TEFL / TESOL / CELTA / TESL course is NOT a requirement to find work as a teacher in Thailand.
The TOEIC test IS a visa and work permit requirement. No TOEIC = no visa and no work permit as a teacher.
