| Hi. My school is working on getting a visa for a new teacher (American), who has changed her name due to marriage. The local citizen's home is saying that, beyond her marriage certificate, she must also have a notarized and authentic name change record. In the United States there doesn't seem to be any official record given to signify a name change in cases of marriage and divorce. Does anybody else have experience with this? What document exactly does this teacher need, and how can it be obtained? |

| Has the name on her passport changed? If not just use that name. |
