Hello,
Any experienced summer-job teachers out there? I know this is the absolute wrong time of year to be asking about this, but the idea just occurred to me, so it's too late to look at the ads. I guess I'm scouting ahead for next summer. I'm mostly interested in how much summer jobs pay. Obviously, that depends on where you're teaching. I used to teach in Korea, but now I think I'd like to teach in Japan or anywhere in Europe, if that's a possibility. I also wouldn't mind teaching in the Middle East, since I hear you can make good money there. I'm also wondering if there're fewer hoops to jump through when securing a short-term job.
Thanks, everyone. |

If you have a degree and a CELTA, try the British Council for summer gigs. |

Also be aware that the summer break is NOT always June-August.
Lots of countries (especially in East/SE Asia) take their long breaks sometime between March and June. |
