Angloville offers a good experience teaching/tutoring in several countries in Eastern Europe. Glad I did it for all the experiences but they take a deposit. From talking to those on the trip, they always look for reasons not to return it and then fail to respond to emails requesting it. It just happened to me. Be warned, it is not a deposit. It is a payment for the privilege. There are far better programs out there for this kind of experience.

Probably better under a country specific forum.

So let's get this straight: You pay them, they charge clients and you work for free. Meanwhile they register themselves as a Fundacja Rozwój Bez Granic (Development Without Borders Foundation) when they are actually a 'for profit' company. setting themselves up like this gets them round the people working for free bit legally (avoiding minimum wages, NI, tax etc).

This is exactly the kind of shyte that companies in Central Europe are getting away with and suckers are falling for it because they target the 'traveller' types.

Shocking exploitation of people.

Sounds like a "great" experience. Thanks to such companies teaching has become a joke rather than a job, and the market is an absolute minefield. I don't think we often hear about e.g. accountants or plumbers being asked to pay for being allowed to work in a country of their choice. Hell, I can't even imagine that anyone would have the guts to try that.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Angloville has been a topic around here that keeps on coming back every season, and this is a very loud voice in the debate whether it makes sense to work for them or not.

€69.00 - and while I was on the week I spoke with several people who had gone with Angloville before. They all said they never got deposits back. I wondered why they came back after thst experience.
