Avoid Tashkent Ulugbek "International School".
No student accountability - none.
No viable curriculum - none - therefore no student textbooks. You had to pull a textbook out of the small library that they had and photocopy huge amounts of pages for up to 6 different levels of classes, dozens of classes in total.
No laboratory equipment whatsoever other than ridiculous cardboard stuff that some other teacher had tried to put together.
No laboratory. Not that it matters, because I suspect the laboratory would have been the same quality as the lab equipment.
All of this, especially the lack of student accountability, means that you are open to student manipulation. It also means that the school is looking for some way to delegate the consequences to somebody else. Guess who?
There was also very serious apartment issues. It in some ways appeared that individuals connected to the school were taking kickbacks. |
