A link to a map was posted on this forum a few years ago.

You moved around the map and the man speaking changed accent corresponding to the location. Have tried to find the post, but unfortunately can't.

Could someone bump up the post please? Thanks

Thanks a lot Mr. Kalgukshi.

The one I'm looking for is a map with audio. As you move the cursor around the map, the audio changes with different accents.

Tried the search function. Have also manually looked through 30 pages of posts. How sad am I!

Thanks again for your suggestion. Maybe it will remain buried in the sands of time.

Thanks nimadecaomei.

That's really good. Great to see the diversity in Uk. Unfortunately, not the one posted here I was thinking of. Must be at least five years ago, so the link is probably dead anyway.

Thanks again nimadecaomei. I might have to stick with yours to baffle my foreign friends.

Could be something from here: https://sounds.bl.uk/Sound-Maps/Accents-and-Dialects

However, I cannot get any of their maps to load on my computer for some reason.

Thanks again nimadecaomei.

Think it was the sound map one. Unfortunately I can't get them to work either. Will have to make do with the previous one you suggested.

Good to see the board isn't totally dead. I don't work in China, but appreciate your posts in those forums and your help here too.

No problem. Also was curious what I might find.
