If you invest the time you can find out if you are being offered a fair contract by an honest and stable employer. What services will the recruiter offer. Can they find you a job that pays greater than one you can find yourself? Can they insure that the contract will be square...Are they going to check in on you ever now and then...
Check and see if they have ever visited the schools they work for and ask to speak to former "clients". To be trueful there will be good and bad post on any recruiter as is the case with "Footprints" and I think that one of the founders B. Glickman (I think that is his name) has posted on these forums before and well as many other recuriters so I would caution you as to the sources of the post.

I dealt with them, they're a mess. Totally unorganized with whichever group they're dealing with. It didn't fall through. U can try it, but I'm just saying my experience with them didn't go too well. The guy seemed nice but didn't do anything for me.

It is true that I respond to posts about Footprints from time to time, but always do so under my own name- I don't have the ability nor would I want to 'plant' posts about Footprints in these forums.
