You know, Taylor, you come across as a crass old man. You seem to know it all, so why don't you become THE BOARD GURU!!!
You make mistakes(my post,) and then you consider it word. People on this board(at least I,) aren't looking for Mr. Knowledge, NO THANK YOU.
You think you've seen it all here in Taiwan, but. . .
Look inside yourself. |

To be honest, if I was looking for the answer to anything other than the most trivial of questions, I certainly wouldn't be looking for AKATDN to answer it.
That much I know. |

I wonder why you would answer this post then, other than the fact that the two posters of this message(Taylor an you,) are somehow related. Yet your words hold you in suspicion, and doubt, that really if something so trivial as my post needs your commenting, then perhaps you've got A CHIP ON YOUR SHOULDER AGAINST ARISTOTLE?! Why not comment about Taylor's comment?
Again, why comment at all, since this is "THE MOST TRIVIAL OF QUESTIONS?" But who is making a question anyway? More or less you used a word or two to twist your own unfactual wording to refute, in effect, what Aristotle and others may regard as their own free thinking, but free thinking which you consider antithetical to your own thinking, and therefore you act as I suspected?
This is my question, Taylor, or Holmes. No doubt it's trivial. Go to the Korean board and ask them about triviality. Then ask me why you think you should put another man down(Aristotle,) in order to arouse our sense of "see-no-evil, hear-no evil" Chinese mentality you're trying to present. |

I have no idea what you are talking about most of the time and I suspect most other people don't know (or care) either, but thanks for wasting five minutes of what is turning out to be a very boring day.
I just like to prod you with a stick every now and then to see if I can get a reaction. It worked. |

I guess what I AM saying is that this post is an example of one person's malicious dominance over this board, something that shouldn't be allowed.
Yes, it's been a very boring day, and perhaps my comments toward you were unjustified. That's why both you, and I, must waste our time tearing each other down instead of building one another up.
People don't care about what they write on websites, thinking they can stick-it to 'em whenever they want. Taylor often times seems to come across as one, and "a websitter" always trying to make others feel belittled, and that by "throwing the baby out with the bathwater."
I've got some time off anyway. Quit my job on behalf of justice. I suppose Taylor's got one jab for me in the ribs about this too. |

Everytime I read your posts, I get the impression that you are tormented in some way. Even though these posts are written I feel like you are shouting. Why? |

Why Holmes?
I think I can tell you. I was considered a man of intellegence at the spring of his youth. I therefore pursued my forebears' opinions to prove their worth. I had to sit for hours on knees without any food, beside a blank bed, a bed I'd rather now choose.
I was scorned and whipped for silent refuse, my opinions now becoming my own for fate or God to choose. I felt, perhaps, that if I were to lose, my life would be dangling, by a devil's noose!
So I stood strong and felt I had nothing left to lose. I went to China, and broke through their loops. I felt that at the age of 21, I couldn't bear to lose, something I now lost, to lust and booze.
What I'm saying Holmes is that I've become more aware then when I was that child being abused and scorned for nothing other than being what the forebear's had spoken about all along! Not like I'm some Mormon freak! I was 21, remember? But I woke up then, to the abuse of power, words and lies!
I hate such aspects of life, and went to China to fight against communism as a result. I stood there in the night, wondering how much one man means in life. Really, you ever think about it here at all? How much do you mean, how much does what your father taught you, and your mother, mean compared to your life here?
Then I come across a board, and people, who defer to their own doubts about the the freedom they so espouse is theirs to proclaim?! I walked for 30 miles a day, in the heart of cities, awaiting a reason to be dead or alive to this fact. I'm tormented by my own cowardness I conceal as a weaapon. |

Like I said, I nor anybody else has a clue what you are talking about.
I just think you are an attention seeker, be it negative or positive attention.
I also suspect you to be barking mad. |

Dear Readers,
I am going to randomly pick 10 words from the dictionary. Then I will use some articles, prepositions and inflections to create a sentence. Let's see if it sounds like something AKATDN would post......HERE GOES!!!!
1)redroot 2)evolution 3)sound 4)embryo 5)raised 6)strikebound 7)determiner 8)caucus 9)tawdry......and I SWEAR the last word was 10)derange!!!!
The tawdry evolution of the strikebound caucus raised a redroot that was a sound determiner of the deranged embryo.
Give it a try, guys! It's pretty fun!!! Hey AKATDN, if you ever create any of your own teaching materials, I would love to have a signed edition from you personally.

Taylor, it really doesn't matter to me if whether or not you want to protect yourself in defense of your comments. I think it just proves that you come across as an abrasive aboriginal without any sense of literary justice.
What teaching materials could I offer you? Learn the meaning of the word "strikebound" when using a sentence in past tense.
Again, this doesn't matter to me. What concerns me is when some people are apt to say negative things like this post you made, without expecting others not to refrain from their verbal attacks.
It'd do you, and me good, to look into the origins of verbal abuse. |
