I'm new to this forum, and I have to say that there is some really useful information here.
Have spent the last 2 hours or so searching the formus for any information about Changchun - in particular Changchun University and Changchun Teachers College.
I would really appreciate anyone who has any more information about these two places -

what would you like to know about these two places?
1. on location: changchun univ is centrally located. near walmart..accessible.. bus, light rail etc..
changchun teachers college is quiet far from the city center. if you like going to the city, well, you will spend a sum on taxi fares esp at night
2. on classroom stuff: CU: max 30 students (english majors) max 50 (business majors), max 16 hours teaching per week.. most teachers have less..
CTC: min 40 students per class. 16hours to 22 hours per week.. this college is actually a place where those with an AA can do further studies so they can get a BA degree.
3. salary: 3,300 to 5,500 depending on qualifications and experiences.
let me know of any other questions.. are you in changchun or are you considering a post in one of these two places?.. |

Thanks for the response JimmyJam, much appreciated.
I'm not in Changchun yet but probably will be within th next few weeks.
I'd like to know more about CTC, more specifically, what's the accommodation like - also what's the curriculum like.
