My student in Tokyo asked me for a simple to learn/use phonetic chart of the English sounds. Where can I find an easy one to teach/learn on the internet? I need help! Thanks.

Dictionaries and many grammar books have them too. I'll bet your student has one, just never looked at the front of his/her dictionary.

Try this one: http://www.antimoon.com/how/pronunc-soundsipa.htm. It's fairly thorough, and it has examples of both British and American pronunciation.
